Walking around Padova and visit of Palazzo della Ragione 


The centre of Padua can be easily reached by Tram from the Railway station, direction “Capolinea Sud-Guizza” – more information about timetable and ticket on can also follow the audio instruction inside the tram to discover the nearest stop.

For those interested, we recommend arriving a little earlier and visiting the Basilica di Sant’Antonio - Basilica of Saint Anthony -, a place where devotion is inseparably intertwined with the art; inside it there will be an artistic overview of the followers of Giotto, then Donatello with its beautiful Renaissance, the Baroque, ending with contemporary art of Annigoni.)

  • The tour start with a nice walk through Padua historic centre; admiring the architecture of the historic buildings, the medieval arcades, the ancient squares animated by markets. The illustrated walk will continue until historic center, where we will meet Tomba di Antenore (Tomb of Antenore), the monumental Torre dell'Orologio (Clock tower), the Palazzo Bo, seat of the University of Padua. and the “Palazzo della Ragione”.

  • Visit of Palazzo Della Ragione and visit of the formerly housed the city's court that has one of the largest raised rooms in all of Europe. The building is now recognised as one of the most famous civilian structures from the time of the Communes.
